Ray and Peggy have been in this business for 30 years. Because of their ill health (several strokes for Ray, and cancer, now in remission, for Peggy), they have decided to pass their business to the next generation in form of Jonathan, their #4 son. From now on, he will be in charge of Ray's Indian Originals and will be responsible.
Because of diminished traffic from walk-ins and local people, Jonathan decided to take the majority of the inventory to the Internet in order to expand the customer base. All that has happened since 9-11 has had a major impact on all our lives. As far as business goes, for us and most other people dealing in collectible goods, regardless whether Indians or otherwise, times have been tough.
So, with that mind, Jonathan from now on will be your contact. The only thing you will find Ray good for is continuing to tell stories 'cause he will never quit that his whole life.
And, Jonathan will from time to time issue one of his original poems.
This is what you can expect, and this is Ray's and Peggy's way of saying we're still around, but we pass it on to Jay (Jonathan).
